Digital Project Manager

Location: Camden - London

 

We are currently looked for an outstanding Digital Project Manager to join our thriving Digital team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied and exciting challenge in the Digital arena. 

 

This is both a client-facing role, helping to develop digital initiatives for our clients, as well as a hands-on role overseeing the delivery of the best digital solutions.

 

You will be an experienced digital professional. You’re a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives under pressure. You’ll have experience dealing with clients, managing expectations and being the go-to person for all things digital. Your curiosity for breaking new ground will make you a leader rather than a follower.

 

You will have demonstrable knowledge of digital media as well as a technical understanding of online systems and their uses & design and how these can be employed to meet business needs.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide input at early project stages (pitch), effectively communicating technical, creative, and production issues and solutions both internally and to the client.
  • Input on proposals, brainstorming session and translate ideas to paper for later presentation to stakeholders
  • Liaise with the client and account teams to ensure that any changing client needs are scoped into the project and if appropriate, new costs or timeframes are negotiated.
  • Oversee the daily development, track project plans and ensure timeline and client expectations are met
  • Your technical understanding will enable you to advise on innovative ideas to design and distribute digital solution
  • Be responsible for quality control (QA), design and run TestPlans

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

This is a hands-on role for a digital project manager with good communication skills (verbal and written).

 

Essential experience in project management of digital projects:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Good communication skills (email, face to face, ppt,..)
  • Serious interest in cutting-edge technologies/products.
  • Ability to document requirements.
  • Experience in managing internal teams of designers, developers and editorial staff to perform Quality Assurance on digital deliveries.
  • Solid understanding of user experience, information architecture and interface design.

 

The successful candidate will have significant interest for technology and outstanding communication skills.

 

The Digital Team

 

The digital team is part of a larger organization (including: 3D/Video, Creative, Account, Editorial, IT team) providing communication/marketing services to the healthcare industry and you will be expected to be able to communicate clearly across teams.

 

The digital team includes approximately 20 people - backend, front-end and mobile developers, Project Managers as well as UX and QA specialists. The digital team has become a major asset for the company whilst the number and complexity of digital projects kept rising over the past four years.

 

The digital delivery is a growing aspect of the company but it is often not the only channel used - AS&K is a ‘full-service’ agency (providing content, designing events, building applications and animations to best communicate accurately complex ideas internally and externally).

 

The team operates using daily and weekly sprint meetings to evaluate progress on projects and re-assess resources’ needs. Most of the team members are based in London, UK and you will be expected to be able to work from the London’s based office.

 

Projects Overview

 

  • Average projects length: 2 months to 18 months (additional features on existing offering, or completely tailored solutions)
  • Technical description: “.Net stack (MVC, Webforms, WebApi, MSSQL) and mobile development (iOS and Android)
  • Project management:  The project manager establishes goals and timelines using Agile methodology (waterfall for smaller scale projects) for a team of dedicated developers (2 to 5 persons, depending on projects) under the supervision of the Digital Director.
  • Line Manager: Digital Director, based in London.

 

Account Manager (1)

We are currently looking for an outstanding Account Manager based in Indianapolis, with previous life science experience, to join our thriving team.  The position will liaise with an Account Director in Los Angeles and work on a daily basis with a client engagement lead based in London.

LOCATION

We are looking to support our clients in Indianapolis, and the role does involve travel, predominantly within the area and the US.  Ability to work from a home office is required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be scientifically literate, ideally Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences
  • Proven experience in a medical communications agency and as an Account Manager
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly as regards brand strategy, marketing and medical education, and compliance and the regulatory environment
  • Knowledge and experience of working in multiple therapy areas
  • Experience of managing a wide variety of different types of medical communications activities
  • Digital experience an advantage

Account Executive

Our Account Executives perform a crucial role within the Account Management Team, taking responsibility for the coordination of active projects as they progress through other internal teams, and performing administrative duties in support of the Senior Account Executives and Account Managers. 

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with internal departments and external suppliers to coordinate the progress of active projects to schedule
  • Attendance on client calls and preparation of prompt and accurate contact reports
