Reporting to our US Client Services Director, based in Los Angeles, and supported by Account Executives in London, the successful candidate will be the principal point of contact for selected US clients, with responsibility for executing multiple concurrent projects internationally – from taking a client brief, through scoping, budgeting, and internal team coordination, to successful project delivery. The ability to build and maintain relationships with clients is critical, and, as part of this, the capability to engage in discussion with clients regarding their products and associated therapy areas is essential.

 

Our Account Managers will support and develop their teams. 

 

Our Account Managers are also expected to identify and develop opportunities for business development. 

 

 

The ideal candidate must:

  • be scientifically literate, with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in biomedical sciences

This position would suit a scientific/medical editor, or writer with strong editorial skills, who has experience working within a medical communications, medical education or healthcare advertising agency and would like to step up into a more senior role. The Digital Team

 

The digital team is part of a larger organization (including: 3D/Video, Creative, Account, Editorial, IT team) providing communication/marketing services to the healthcare industry and you will be expected to be able to communicate clearly across teams.

 

The digital team includes approximately 20 people - backend, front-end and mobile developers, Project Managers as well as UX and QA specialists. The digital team has become a major asset for the company whilst the number and complexity of digital projects kept rising over the past four years.

 

The digital delivery is a growing aspect of the company but it is often not the only channel used - AS&K is a ‘full-service’ agency (providing content, designing events, building applications and animations to best communicate accurately complex ideas internally and externally).

 

The team operates using daily and weekly sprint meetings to evaluate progress on projects and re-assess resources’ needs. Most of the team members are based in London, UK and you will be expected to be able to work from the London’s based office.
